Indian Wedding Planner in the UK & Europe

Specialist Indian wedding planners based in Scotland, creating multi-day celebrations across the UK and Europe.

I plan every wedding like it's my own.
With the same obsession over the details.
The same sleepless nights over the design.
The same non-negotiable standards.
Only the best. Every Single Time.

An Indian wedding is not one day. It's a Mehndi, a Haldi, a Sangeet, a Baraat, a ceremony, a reception, each one carrying its own vibe and its own logistics. Whether you're Hindu, Sikh, or planning a multicultural celebration, your traditions are honoured, your story stays at the centre, and every single person who comes feels taken care of.

Indian Wedding Planning Across the UK & Europe

Romantic Society is based in Scotland, but I plan Indian weddings across the UK and throughout Europe — from historic Scottish castles and English countryside estates to Mediterranean villas and city venues in Italy, France, Greece, Spain and Portugal.

I work with a lot of international couples planning from the US, India, Dubai and beyond. Some of my favourite client relationships have been entirely over WhatsApp.

Distance has never gotten in the way of us building something incredible together.

You should feel like you can ask me anything. Because you can.

A Personal Understanding

My husband and I are a multicultural couple. We designed our three-day celebration from the ground up, creating our own rituals and blending our cultures while obsessing over how every single guest would feel from the moment they arrived to the moment they left. It was chaotic, joyful, and the most creatively fulfilling thing I've ever done. And it showed me exactly what this kind of wedding takes.

I know that planning a wedding isn't happening in a vacuum. You're navigating careers, families, life, and somewhere in the middle of all of that, you're also trying to pull together one of the most meaningful celebrations of your lives. That's exactly why I'm here — not just to plan the logistics, but to genuinely carry the weight of it with you.

Indian Wedding Celebrations I Plan

Everything, handled.

Every wedding I take on starts the same way: we get into a proper conversation about who you are as a couple and what you want your celebration to feel like. From there, I handle everything.

Here's what I regularly plan and manage:

  • Welcome lunches & dinners

  • Mehndi ceremonies

  • Haldi celebrations

  • Sangeet evenings

  • Baraat processions

  • Hindu wedding ceremonies, including pheras beneath the mandap

  • Anand Karaj ceremonies for Sikh weddings

  • Wedding receptions

  • Post-wedding celebrations like pool parties

My job is to make sure every single one flows seamlessly into the next, so your whole weekend feels like one beautiful celebration, not a series of events to get through.

My Design Philosphy

I don't have a signature aesthetic I impose on every wedding. My job is to understand yours — your colours, your culture, your personalities — and build something that feels completely cohesive from the first event to the last.

If you're a maximalist, I'm all in. If you love simplicity, I'll make it happen. This is about me helping you build your design world.

We begin with The Love Blueprint, a bespoke 20+ page design document built around who you are as a couple. Your colour story, your aesthetic references, your cultural traditions, the feeling you want every guest to carry home. Everything that follows is built on that foundation.

Indian Wedding Planning FAQs

How much does an Indian wedding in the UK or Europe typically cost?

1

Indian weddings in the UK and Europe can vary significantly depending on guest count, number of events and location. Most of our couples invest from £80,000 for multi-day celebrations, with larger luxury weddings often exceeding £150,000. During our initial consultation, we provide tailored guidance based on your vision and priorities.

Can you plan multi-day Indian weddings across Europe?

2

Yes, Romantic Society specialises in destination Indian weddings throughout the UK and Europe. From Scottish castle celebrations to elegant European wedding weekends, we manage the full multi-day experience, including guest logistics, cultural suppliers and seamless event flow across every celebration.

Do you work with overseas couples planning a destination wedding?

3

Absolutely. Many of our couples are based in the US, the Middle East, India and internationally. We provide full remote support, structured planning timelines and regular virtual meetings to ensure the process feels effortless — no matter where you are based.

When should we book our Indian wedding planner?

4

For multi-day Indian weddings, we recommend securing your planner 12–18 months in advance, particularly for peak summer dates and destination venues. Early planning allows us to secure the best venues, coordinate guest logistics smoothly and design your celebration with proper intention.

Can you help our families navigate the planning process?

5

Very much so. Indian weddings often involve multiple stakeholders and traditions, and we are experienced in guiding families with clarity and sensitivity. Our role is to ensure every voice is heard while keeping the planning process calm, structured and enjoyable for everyone involved.

What makes Romantic Society different for Indian weddings?

6

At Romantic Society, we combine design-led luxury planning with genuine cultural understanding. We don’t simply coordinate events, we carefully consider the flow, guest experience and emotional significance behind each moment, ensuring your celebration feels both modern and rooted in tradition.

Can you help manage multiple events and complex schedules?

7

Yes, multi-day timelines are one of our specialities. From welcome events and sangeets to ceremonies and receptions, we carefully map the flow of each day so that transitions feel seamless and guests are always well guided and cared for.

How do you ensure guests are comfortable throughout the celebrations?

8

Guest experience is central to our approach. We consider everything from venue flow and transportation to weather contingencies, elderly guest accessibility and thoughtful on-the-day support. Our goal is that every guest feels welcomed, comfortable and well looked after from arrival to farewell.

Do you work with culturally specific suppliers?

9

Absolutely. We regularly collaborate with trusted mandap designers, specialist caterers, cultural performers and ceremonial experts across the UK and Europe. We are also happy to work alongside family-recommended suppliers where appropriate.

Will you help guide us through traditions and timings?

10

Yes, we work closely with couples and families to understand which traditions are most meaningful to you. We then build a clear, well-paced schedule that honours these moments while ensuring the overall celebration flows beautifully.
