Our client wanted to end his partner's Edinburgh holiday with a proposal, but not the version everyone expects. No restaurant, no set menu shared with other diners, nothing that felt borrowed from somewhere else and no prying eyes either. He wanted the moment to feel like theirs alone.

So instead of booking a table, we found a flower shop and turned it into a private dining for the night. A private chef, a violinist, candlelight, and just the two of them, closing out their trip exactly the way it deserved to end.

The £550 fee covers our planning time and on-site coordination. Supplier and location costs are separate and agreed within your budget.

Your Questions, Answered

  • I’m based in Scotland and plan proposals in person across Scotland and England, including Edinburgh, Glasgow, the Highlands, the Lake District, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham and London. I don't currently travel further afield for proposals, but I do for weddings. If you have a location in mind further afield, please do ask!

  • Ideally, 6-8 weeks, especially for peak season (May-September) or a specific location that may need advance permission. I can sometimes turn things around faster if needed; just ask.

  • No. Discretion is central to how I work. Every supplier is briefed carefully, and we plan around your partner's schedule so nothing feels out of the ordinary until the moment itself.

  • The £550 covers my planning time: the questionnaire, the curated pitch, sourcing and booking suppliers, and set-up, take-down and on-the-ground oversight. Photographers, venues, florals and any other suppliers are separate and agreed within your budget.

  • Absolutely. Some couples come to me with the location already decided and just need everything else arranged. Others want me to find the right spot from scratch. Both work.

  • Yes. Many of my proposal clients go on to become wedding clients. If it goes well, I’d love to help plan the wedding too.
